Chicken Barbecue

The Avon Lions Club runs several chicken barbecue fundraisers every year, generally in January, April, and during Corn Fest.  This is one of the club’s most popular fundraisers and generations of Avon families have enjoyed delicious barbecued chicken, cole slaw, beans, and salt potatoes

Patriot Flag Project

Every year, Avon Lions place memorial flags throughout the community to commemorate Memorial Day, Flag Day, the 4th of July, and Patriot Day.
